Unsigned Underground Volume 5 has landed! We’ve got another dope mix of unsigned artists for everyone to check out. Featured on Volume 5 are a great group of cats who know exactly what the underground and indie hip-hop are all about. We’ve got 9k, MINORITY, Poze, Sky From D-Squad, Supah Gawdz, Grimlin, Lord X Jeremy, U.G., Heir JS and Won2won. As always, Unsigned Underground is 100% free to download and share! Please spread the word and help recognize some of the awesome talent the indie hip-hop scene has to offer.
It’s been a long time since a mixtape has been released my friends, but trust me, I’m working on it. I’ve got my EP coming out shortly, so Unsigned Underground should resume as normal after that. In the meantime, enjoy some of the daily doses I’ve put together!
Submissions are now open for Volume Six of Unsigned Underground! Feel free to get yourself over to the Submission Page to submit your music for Volume Six!
I’m hoping to have this released within the next two weeks, so let’s hear what you’ve got for Unsigned Underground!
Don’t forget to read over the rules, and the updated terms and conditions that apply to music submissions.

It’s been awhile! After a brief hiatus from Unsigned Underground (due to my actual job), I’m back and ready to get Volume Four out the door. We just need some more submissions (everyone who already submitted is still in the running) to round out the mixtape. If that’s you, head over to the submission page and send me your music.
I’ve currently been pouring over all the submissions for Volume Three, and I think I’ve got them narrowed down. There’s a lot of great music in my inbox, I couldn’t be happier! I’ll be making the final decisions this evening and everyone will receive an email with the track listing.
Thanks for all the submissions! Any submissions that were received after 09/30/12 will be deferred to Volume Four.
As some of you may have heard, I’ve been working my ass off to create a better experience on the Unsigned Underground site. What you see now is the culmination of about 100-hours of work, thousands of lines of code and a keyboard mangled in frustration. Not all of the features have been rolled out yet, they’re still in production. However, the ability for me to make publishing content easier has made the ability for more content to be published on a consistent basis. I could have used all that time to develop my official site or produce music, but instead I chose to utilize that time for the community.
